NELG Monthly Meeting

  • February 18, 2017
  • 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Joshua Hyde Public Library, Sturbridge, MA

Registration

  • Attendance at monthly meetings is free to members. Newcomers and guests are always welcome!

Registration is closed
The library opens at 10:30 a.m., so please come early to visit with your lace making friends.   There will be a formal business meeting this month, so please register for this event so that we know you are planning to attend.

Don't forget we have a "Show and Tell" table at each monthly meeting that takes place in Sturbridge.  Members are encouraged to bring a fiber-related project that they have recently finished to show to the group, and to declare some bragging rights!

Program: Spiders and Snowflakes

Here we will look at classic spiders and snowflakes for both their differences and where they are found, as well as how one can melt into the other in modern lace making. This is a hands-on workshop, and you will have the opportunity to make both. Additional information and a supply list is available here. Presented by NELG member, Sharon Sacco.

Please register so we know how many to expect and Sharon can prepare sufficient patterns and instructions.
