Creating a fiber arts fair was a life-long dream of quilter and fabric enthusiast, Irene Zibell. In loving memory of Irene, her daughters Barbara and Marilyn are hosting this Fiber Arts Fair, bringing her dream into reality. The fair will take place at St James Episcopal Church, Amesbury, MA from 9am to 3pm.
The hope is that this will be a festival-like atmosphere with fiber enthusiasts of all kinds. Demonstrations of all kinds of crafts will be on-going through the day, including crochet, knitting, bobbin lace, weaving, yarn spinning, needle felting, wool embroidery, yarn products and hand-crafted bags.
There will be a designated area for an English tea style café and restroom facilities are available.
